What I was saying is that you can hover over any image on any GitHub-rendered Markdown file and it will always be a link; if the image is not linked in your Markdown, GitHub just links it to the original image (the rendered image is cached). So it's indistinguishable from a regular image without looking at the destination.

By the way, I was thinking more about a textual "demo" link, because people may not realize the static image is a link to a video demo (by default static images are linked to their originals on GitHub; therefore, even hover behavior is indistinguishable unless one looks at the destination in their browser status bar — and some browsers don't even have that).```
